Mining
Mining is the primary way to acquire LODE. You pay ETH to create a mining position that produces LODE over a set number of days.
How It Works
Create a Mint
Choose a mint power (25, 50, or 100) and duration (1-280 days), then pay the ETH cost.
Wait for Maturity
Your mint matures after the chosen number of days.
Claim Your LODE
Claim within 7 days of maturity to avoid penalties.

Mint Cost
The cost is calculated as:
mintCost = currentMintCost x mintPower / 100
count mints:
totalCost = currentMintCost x mintPower x count / 100
currentMintCost increases 0.08% per day, starting at 0.002 ETH and capping at 0.01 ETH.
Reward Calculation
Your LODE reward is calculated and locked in when you create the mint:

Your reward amount is locked in at creation. Daily parameter changes don’t affect existing mints.
Claim Bonus
When claiming a matured mint, you receive an additional Mint Power Bonus based on how much global mint power has grown since your mint was created:

Reward Bonuses

Late Claim Penalties
You have a 7-day grace period after maturity. After that:

Failing to claim within 21 days of maturity results in a 99% penalty. Set a reminder.
Batch Minting
You can create up to 100 mints in a single transaction. All mints in the batch share the same mint power and duration, saving gas.
