PRELODE Cross-Chain Claims
PRELODE is a token on Solana. You can permanently burn it on Solana and claim LODE on Ethereum at a 1:1 exchange rate.
This is a one-way bridge: burned PRELODE is gone forever, and you receive LODE in return.
PRELODE Token
| Property | Value |
|---|
| Chain | Solana |
| Standard | SPL Token-2022 |
| Decimals | 6 |

How It Works
- You burn PRELODE on Solana, specifying your Ethereum address
- Every 6 hours, a snapshot service reads all burn records from Solana
- The snapshot builds a Merkle tree and posts the root to Ethereum
- You submit a Merkle proof on Ethereum to claim your LODE
Exchange Rate
The default rate is 1 PRELODE = 1 LODE (accounting for the decimal difference: 6 decimals on Solana, 18 on Ethereum).
The rate can be adjusted by the protocol. A rate increase unlocks more LODE for existing burners. A rate decrease only affects future unclaimed burns — already-claimed LODE is never clawed back.
Delta Claiming
You can claim incrementally. Each time you burn more PRELODE and a new snapshot is posted, you only claim the difference from your last claim:
Snapshot 1: You burned 1,000 PRELODE total -> Claim 1,000 LODE
Snapshot 2: You burned 3,000 PRELODE total -> Claim 2,000 LODE (delta only)
Total received: 3,000 LODE
Trust Model
The Solana-to-Ethereum bridge is not trustless. It relies on an off-chain snapshot service to correctly read Solana burn state and an admin key to honestly post the Merkle root. There is no on-chain oracle or ZK proof connecting the two chains.
