Prerequisites

  • An Ethereum wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.)
  • ETH for minting and gas fees
  • A referral code (required while referral lock is active)

Step 1: Get a Referral Code

While the referral lock is active, you need a referral code to mint. Ask an existing user for their code, then:
  1. Go to the Obelisk app
  2. Navigate to the Referrals section
  3. Enter the referral code you received
  4. Confirm the transaction
Your referral is permanent and gives you a 5% LODE bonus on every mint.

Step 2: Create Your First Mint

  1. Navigate to the Mine section
  2. Choose your mint power (25, 50, or 100) — higher power costs more ETH but earns more LODE
  3. Choose your duration (1-280 days) — longer mints earn more LODE
  4. Review the estimated LODE reward
  5. Confirm the transaction and pay the ETH mint cost

Step 3: Wait for Maturity

Your mint matures after the chosen number of days. Track your active mints in the dashboard.
Set a reminder to claim within 7 days of maturity. Penalties start after the grace period and escalate quickly to 99%.

Step 4: Claim Your LODE

Once your mint matures:
  1. Go to the Mine section
  2. Click Claim on your matured mint
  3. Confirm the transaction
  4. LODE tokens appear in your wallet
