How to Mint
Single Mint
Choosing Parameters
Mint Power determines cost and reward scaling:
| Mint Power | ETH Cost Multiplier | Use Case |
|---|
| 25 | 0.25x | Lower risk, smaller positions |
| 50 | 0.50x | Balanced |
| 100 | 1.00x | Maximum reward per mint |
Duration (1-280 days): Longer mints produce more LODE, but you wait longer to claim. A small daily reduction (0.11%) slightly reduces per-day rewards for longer mints.
Example
At a mint cost of 0.005 ETH:
| Power | Cost | Approximate Reward |
|---|
| 25 | 0.00125 ETH | ~25% of max reward |
| 50 | 0.0025 ETH | ~50% of max reward |
| 100 | 0.005 ETH | Full reward |
Batch Mint
Create up to 100 mints in one transaction with the same parameters. The total ETH cost is for all mints combined. Saves gas compared to individual mints.
Batch minting locks in the same parameters for all mints and is significantly cheaper on gas.
Claiming
Single Claim
Claim one specific mint by its ID. The mint must be matured.
Batch Claim
Claim up to 100 matured mints in a single transaction. Processes mints in order of creation.
Maximizing Rewards
- Mint early — the EAA bonus decays to zero by day ~350, and daily mintable LODE decreases over time
- Burn LODE first — build up your burn amplifier bonus (up to 8%) before creating new mints
- Use a referral — the 5% LODE bonus applies to every mint
- Claim on time — late penalties destroy up to 99% of your reward
- Use batch mint — saves gas and locks in the same parameters for all mints
